Brent has been in "the ministry" since 1980. Brent and Mary were married in 1998. Brent has a Bachelor of Theology, and Master's Degrees in both Christian Education, and Media Ministries. Mary has a Master of Public Administration.

"Our theme in training is that if we are doing our job, we should be 'invisible' to the congregation and they should not know that we are working in the background," Brent Hoefling.
