Childrens Ministries - Developing Leaders, Impacting Kids
These statistics challenge us to make ministry to children a top priority within our organization and within each local church. Children's Ministries here at the international office of the Churches of God of Prophecy embraces God's purposes for children. Every ministry initiative, training opportunity, resource, and event is designed to establish God's purposes in the hearts of our children. Because the staff here at the international office cannot personally reach every child with the message of God's purposes, we must enable others to do so. Therefore, our passion is to develop leaders in children's ministry. These leaders will see the big picture of what God wants to do in the lives of our children. They will develop ministries, resources, and relationships that will enable His purposes to be accomplished. They will value dependence on God, excellence in ministry, and will multiply themselves in the lives of children and other children's ministers. Our hearts are toward the development of such leaders and we are working with God to see this accomplished through prayer, mentoring, resource development and training opportunities. Paul's desire for the Galatians was that Christ be formed in them (Galatians 4:19). This is our prayer for the children of this generation and for the children's ministers who lead them.

This will be in Spanish and English. I'm attaching the informational brochure for you to look over. This is a training sponsored by the international offices from Sister Creasy and is excellent. This training is for pastors, Sunday school teachers, children's ministers, and anyone else who works with children. The pre-registration deadline is Saturday but I can extend it through this weekend. We do not need the $30 tuition turned in until the day of the training, just let us know if you are coming so we can make sure we have enough materials. Studies have shown that churches who invest in effective ministry to children are seeing tremendous growth. God loves kids and wants them to walk in a deep relationship with Him. He wants kids to know Him not about Him. Pastors please encourage your people to be there especially if you are close.
