Greetings in Christ!

As we complete the year and look forward to the next, it is time to start planning for our upcoming Gordon-Conwell classes.  The 2010 schedule is IN and here it is!

GCTS SCHEDULE 2010

New Testament Survey begins April 15 (Olathe)

Church & Community begins June 10 (Olathe)

Old Testament Survey begins October (I forgot the date, but it didn’t change) PS. Start Reading the Old Testament NOW! (Des Moines)

GCTS SCHEDULE 2011

World Missions begins April 14 (Olathe)

The Book of Isaiah begins June 16 (Olathe)

Interpreting the Bible begins September 29 (Des Moines)

For those of you who usually stay in hotels, I have found a wonderful way to stay at one of the two better hotels near us (the La Quinta and Holiday Inn, both on 151st Street just west of I-35).  Go to priceline.com and enter the zip code 66061.  Select the three-star option from the area on the map where 151st Street, Hwy 169 and Interstate 35 intersect.  Last October we were able to secure rooms at $55/night.  They turned out to be at the Holiday Inn…very nice and a savings of about 40%.  The time before, we were booked at La Quinta for the same price.  The only drawback to using priceline.com is that you have to commit to purchasing the room before you actually know which hotel.  The good news is that they are the only 3-star hotels in the area and either one is very nice.  Give it a try and let us know how you did!

For those who will need to stay in homes, please let us know as soon as possible so we may start finding places.  If you stayed with a family last time, it might be good to contact them directly to see if the room is available. If not, we will find one for you.

God bless you all and we hope to see every one of you (and more) this April!
