Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is ladies retreat season again, and this serves as your personal invitation to the 2009-2010 Retreat Season.
LAST SEASON retreats ministered to women in seven nations in five of our continental regions through International and Regional Ladies Retreats. There were many testimonies of the great miracles of God during this time, as we celebrated and purposed to Awake and prepared for the dawning of the second coming of Christ. Thank God for all He has done! And Thank You for your prayers, efforts, and support that continue to impact this ministry as it continues to be a tool which God can use.
Some important information regarding registration can be found at our web site http://cogop.org/287781.ihtml
Retreats, possibly our greatest opportunity for personal ministry to women, are powerful tools, as they provide opportunities for women to come together for relaxation, fellowship, worship, prayer, and education. In addition to continuing to provide spiritual, emotional, physical, mental, and family ministry, retreats also open doors of opportunity for conversions, becoming more aware of the work of the Holy Spirit, as well as training young women to minister in a ripe and ready harvest.
Please join me in prayer and fasting for this retreat season. And make plans to come and join us at Regional Ladies Retreat as we worship, fellowship, and explore God's Word together. I am looking forward to seeing you in an upcoming retreat. We will anticipate receiving your applications.

Later, she began working on her dream of becoming a teacher. This is something that Maritza enjoys very much. After several years of studies, the opportunity was offered to her to work as a teacher in 1977 at the Centro Infantil and at Nueva Esperanza Elementary School. She continued her teaching journey (25+ years) as a Teacher at Academia de Matemáticas y Comercio and at Panama School, which are both very prestigious private Catholic School in Panama. Maritza worked at the schools until when she was offered the opportunity to travel to the United States of America in 1997. Here, she continued working with the School System at Grand Island Public Schools. Due to her passion and enjoyment of working with people, Maritza also gave of herself and time by working at the Saint Francis Medical Center and presently at the Grand Island Clinic and Heartland Family Visitation Center. At these various places she worked as a Spanish Interpreter Translator. Her talent, professionalism, charisma, up-beat spirit, her ability and willingness to relate to all cultural, ethnic and socio-economic groups and different life styles has allowed Maritza to excel in accomplishing the desires of her heart, which is working with people in the community. Additionally, Maritza assists in the community as a Minister and Pastor’s Wife at the Church of God of Prophecy for 25+ years. Maritza works in the church as a Sunday School Teacher, Women’s Group Leader, and Worship Leader. Also, she works arduously visiting and encouraging members and friends at the Nursing Homes, Hospitals and the shut-ins. Maritza is a great listener, mentor, encourager and friend to many in the church and in the community. Maritza enjoys her family circle, which she shares with her husband of 31 years George Jones, her son Jorge Jones, her daughter Jennifer Saleena and son-in-law Kern Saleena. As a family they love to sing, play various musical instruments (i.e. piano, drums, guitar and base guitar) and travel. Together their ambition is to continue using their many abilities by serving and helping in the church and community. After all, “all great change in America begins at the dinner table,” by Ronald Reagan.
