Midwest Region Information for the International Assembly

It is hard to believe that another Assembly is upon us, yet in just a few short months we will gather once again for this great time of celebration.

On this page you will find three documents that are being included in a packet mailed to pastors this week. These documents are:
A cover letter from the General Overseer,
F&S Report to the 97th International Assembly,  with Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, and Appendix D Course of Action Timelines.

And the Proxy Pre-Registration Form (Sent to you in the original two/sheet configuration)

There is not a document from the Biblical Doctrine and Polity (BDP) Committee. The BDP Committee will be releasing their study document at the International Assembly for discussion at the 2014 Assembly.

As you will see, this packet initiates the proxy system for this year's Assembly business. Only one item will be presented for proxy consideration, that being the item entitled "Funds for Tomlinson Center."

All of the materials are provided in English. They are all presently in the translation process and once completed in Spanish they will be made available here.

Local churches are asked to register their proxy representatives  to the Overseer's office by April 30, 2012.   The Midwest Region office will compile this information and forward it to the General Presbyter's Office by May 15, 2012.
